1 Cleanse your skin. Before starting the procedure, thoroughly cleanse the skin at the site of the tattoo by wiping it or washing it with a gel for washing. If the tattoo is large, take a shower or bath.

• Keep in mind not to apply makeup on a fresh tattoo; this can ruin the paint or cause infection.
• The tattoo heals completely in 45 days. Don't try to hide a fresh tattoo that hasn't peeled off.

2 Apply a light concealer. Use a liquid or creamy concealer a few shades lighter than your skin tone. Alternatively, use a corrective concealer.

• Use a sponge or makeup brush to hide the tattoo. Try blotting your skin with concealer without rubbing it in. Using a patting motion, apply concealer to and around the tattoo site.

• If you are using liquid foundation, use a sponge or brush and blot your tattoo. Smooth the top layer of foundation with your fingers if necessary.

4 Use a translucent powder. Using a large brush, apply a thin layer of powder to the tattoo. This will give your skin a matte finish.

5 Spray hairspray on the skin. When you're done applying makeup, lightly sprinkle some nail polish on your skin. This will set your makeup in place and prevent it from rubbing against your clothes or furniture. Let the skin dry before touching it or putting on clothing.

6 Do a test makeup before an important event. If you are planning to hide the tattoo for a special occasion, such as a job interview or wedding, it is a good idea to do a test makeup first. This will give you the opportunity to practice your technique and make sure your makeup matches your skin tone perfectly.

1. 1 Use a tattoo concealer. There are many products on the market designed to disguise tattoos. These products are very effective due to their hiding power and wide range of colors. The only drawback of such products is their cost. The best products are:

This product is sold in a tube that allows you to rub the product directly into the skin without using a sponge or brush. The kit also includes a special detergent to remove camouflage. Warnings
