Everyone can enjoy a great viewing experience for tablet and high definition TV. Plus, you can get the same joy using your Kindle Fire HD by simply connecting it to your HDTV.

Steps

1. 1 Purchase a micro HDMI to HDMI cable. Go to an online store, look for a micro HDMI to HDMI cable and buy it.
   • Find a long enough cable; it should be about 4.5m long for comfortable use.
   • These cables should be fairly cheap.
   • You can also go to your nearest electronics store if you don't want to shop online.
2. 2 Connect your Kindle to the micro HDMI connector. The smaller connector is the micro HDMI connector. Examine the bottom of the Kindle and connect the cable to this port.
3. 3 Attach the HDMI connector to your HDTV. On the back of your TV, plug the large connector into the HDMI port. There are usually two of them, so connect to the first one. It is usually indicated by number # 1.
4. 4 Change the channel. Use the TV remote to change the TV channel to HDMI channel. Make sure your tablet is turned on. Your tablet screen should now display on your HDTV.

Tips

• If you have an old TV that does not support HDMI technology, you can purchase a box called "HDMI to AV composite converter" and connect your tablet and TV through it.
