Adding an Emoji keyboard to your iPhone works just like adding other keyboards. Read on to learn how you too can start using the Emoji icons on your iPhone.

Method 1 of 2: On newer versions of iOS

1. Tap on "Settings".
2. Tap "General".
3. Tap "Keyboard".
4. Tap "Keyboards".
5. Tap "Add keyboard...’.
6. Tap "Emoji" in the list that appears.
7. If you're using the Messages app, tap the globe button on your keyboard. This will give you access to Emoji's icons.

Method 2 of 2: On older versions of iOS

1. Older versions don't have the Emoji keyboard built in, but there are several apps you can download that will allow you to start using the Emoji icons.
   • To find an app, search the App Store for "emoji".

Tips

• Not all devices support Emoji icons, so your messages with Emojis may look strange on other devices.
• Swipe the icons or use the buttons to select different categories.
