This wikiHow shows you how to reset call history on various Android phones. If your brand of phone is not listed, it is possible to use these methods as a general guide.

Method 1 of 5: Samsung Galaxy

1. Open the Phone icon. The Phone icon is green and is usually in the lower left corner of the home screen.
2. Tap on ⁝ or More. It's in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Tap on To clear. There is a box next to each call in the list.
4. Select the calls you want to delete. Tap the box to delete the call, or tap the box Everything to select all calls.
5. Tap on To clear. It's in the top right corner of the screen. The call history has now been deleted.

Method 2 of 5: Google and Motorola

1. Open the Phone icon. This is the blue circle with a white telephone receiver inside. It is usually at the bottom of the home screen.
2. Tap the Clock icon. This shows your most recent calls.
3. Tap on ⁝. It's in the top right corner of the screen.
4. Tap on Call history. This shows all incoming and outgoing calls.
5. Tap on ⁝.
6. Tap on Clear call history.
7. Tap on OK to confirm.

Method 3 of 5: Asus

1. Open the Phone icon. This is the icon with the telephone receiver in it. It is usually at the bottom of the home screen.
2. Tap on ⁝. It's in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Tap on Manage call log.
4. Tap on Clear call log. You will now see a list of calls.
5. Tap the box next to "Select All". This is the first box in the top right corner of the screen. Selects each call in the call log.
6. Tap the trash can icon. It's in the top right corner of the screen.
7. Tap on OK to confirm.

Method 4 of 5: LG

1. Open the Phone icon. This is the handset icon and is usually located at the bottom of the home screen.
2. Tap on Call log.
3. Tap on ☰. If you are using an older model, press the menu button at the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap on Delete everything.
5. Tap on Yes to confirm.

Method 5 of 5: HTC

1. Open the Phone icon. This is the telephone receiver icon on your home screen.
2. Swipe to the Call History tab.
3. Tap on ⁝.
4. Tap on Clear call history. There are now boxes next to each call in your history.
5. Select the calls to delete. You can tick the boxes next to the calls individually or you can go on Select all to tap.
6. Tap on To clear.
