The signature is automatically added to the outgoing email and includes your name, title, and other relevant information. This article will guide you on how to remove (disable add function) a signature from an email.

Method 1 of 3: Gmail

1. 1 Sign in to your Gmail account. Go to https://mail.google.com and enter your username (or email address) and password.
   • If you are using a computer at home or in the office, then most likely your username is already listed on the Gmail login page. Just select your username from the list and enter your password.
2. 2 Click on the gear-shaped icon (in the upper right corner of the Gmail page) and select "Settings" from the menu.
3. 3 Find the "Signature" section (a text block where you can enter your signature text).
4. 4 Check the "Unsigned" checkbox to remove the signature from emails.
5. 5 At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes. You will be redirected to your Gmail inbox.

Method 2 of 3: Yahoo! Mail

1. 1 Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account from the website https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2?&.src=ym&.intl=us (enter username and password).
2. 2 Click on the gear-shaped icon (in the upper right corner of the page) and select "Settings" from the menu.
3. 3 Click on "Create a letter" (second from the top option).
4. 4 Click Signatures (right).
5. 5 Remove the text in the text block to remove the signature from emails.
6. 6 Save your changes by clicking "Save" at the bottom of the window.

Method 3 of 3: Outlook

1. 1 Start Outlook by double-clicking its icon on the desktop or in the start menu.
2. 2 Open the email and click Reply (at the top of the screen). You will see the Signature tab.
3. 3 Go to the Signature tab. A menu will open.
4. 4 Open the Reply / Forward menu (located in the Select Default Signature section.
5. 5 Select Unsigned to turn off automatic signatures for emails.
