The fan page on Facebook is a place where all your business fans can share their hobbies and get news about your business, whether you have a bar or a dog beauty parlor. By creating a Facebook page for your business, you can gain more customers, you will know better what future customers might want, and you will always be in the know. You only need a few minutes to create a page - the tricky part is updating it. If you want to know how to do this, follow these simple steps.

Method 1 of 2: Part One: Customize Your Facebook Page

1. 1 Select "Create Page". You can find this selection at the bottom, right side of the Facebook login page. If you are already logged into your Facebook account, then click on the gear in the upper right corner of the screen and select "Create Page".
2. 2 Select Local Organization or Location. You can find this option in the upper left corner of the screen.
3. 3 Enter your business information. Once you select this option, you will need to write down the business name, address and phone number of your business. Then click "Get Started".
4. 4 Read the Terms of Use of the Pages before agreeing to them. You can click on Facebook Page Terms of Service after you have filled in all the information. Once you are done with the information, just click on the square that says you agree and continue.
5. 5 Describe your business. You will go to a page where you can write a small description of your page and add a unique email address for your business. When finished, save the information by clicking on the "Save Information" button.
6. 6 Choose a picture for your business. In this step, you can upload a photo of your business to make your page more attractive. When finished, click "Save Information".
7. 7 Add the page to your favorites. If you are serious about monitoring your business Facebook page, you should add the page to your favorites. Just click on "Add to favorites". You can choose Skip if you don't want to.
8. 8 Decide if you will advertise on Facebook. Advertising on Facebook can make your business more famous and can help you increase your income. But, you have to pay for it, and you may not want to do it. If you are ready to pay for advertising, then select "Payment method" and follow the instructions. After this step, your page will be ready!

Method 2 of 2: Part Two: Make Your Page Famous

1. 1 Build an audience. Select "Create Audience" in the upper right corner of the screen so that you can invite your friends, your contacts from email and share the page with your friends. You can post information about your business on the Timeline to attract more fans.
2. 2 Update your status. This way, your fans will have more information about your business. Try to update your status at least a couple of times a week if you have something new to say to your fans.Don't do this too often, as your fans can get tired of it. Do not do this rarely, so that you will not be forgotten.
3. 3 Upload more photos about your business. Add cover art and additional photos of your business to keep your fans excited about what you have to offer.
   • To upload your main photo, simply select Add Cover on the right side of where you want your cover to be, at the very top of the screen, and select Upload Photo.
     
     
4. 4 Follow the page. Once you set up your page and start adding fans to your business, you can keep your page updated by adding news a couple of times a week, adding photos, and continuing to invite people you meet to your page.
   • If you have changed the interior of your business or are selling a new product, upload a photo.
   • If you have a sale, write about it.
   • If your business got good reviews, please share it with your fans.
