Sorting the laundry for washing is not difficult at all. You only need 3 baskets or bags, depending on where you put your dirty laundry, and then you don't have to worry about putting in a blue T-shirt with a white one!

Steps

1. 1 Place all your dirty laundry on your bed or floor.
2. 2 Take three laundry baskets.
   • Put all white items in one basket.
   • Light-colored clothes will go to the next one.
   • Place dark clothes in the last basket.
3. 3 Tie or zip up the baskets, depending on which basket you are using.
4. 4 Take it to the laundry. Don't forget to bring your laundry detergent, stain remover, or bleach!
5. 5 Try to find 3-4 free washing machines that are located next to each other. In this case, you do not have to walk all over the laundry room to get clothes.
6. 6 Place the laundry from each basket in a separate washing machine. It means that you put white things in one typewriter, light-colored clothes in another, and dark clothes in a third.
7. 7 Treat stains before washing.
8. 8 Add powder.
   • White items should be washed in hot water using powder and bleach (optional).
     
     
   • Light - can be washed in either cold or warm water. Check the labels on your garments for the correct wash temperature.
     
     
   • Dark clothes should be washed in cold water to prevent fading.
     
     
9. 9 Throw in a penny or token, depending on the type of washing machines. Laundries located near student colleges usually accept coins, otherwise you need tokens.
10. 10 At the end of the wash, check if all stains have been removed. If not, you may need to rewrite. If you have two small piles of white and colored things, then place them in one typewriter. Just select a cold wash cycle.
11. 11 Transfer the clean laundry to the dryer.
    • Dark items should be dried at medium to high temperatures.
      
      
    • Light-colored clothing can be dried with warm or hot air.
      
      
    • White - must be dried at a high temperature.
      
      
12. 12 Remove all clothes from the dryer immediately as soon as they stop, otherwise everything will get wrinkled. Especially if it's a white shirt for an evening suit, or just a pretty shirt that you want to wear. Otherwise, you will have to iron.
13. 13 Don't forget about the things you are re-washing. If you don't want to spend more money on drying, then take it with you and hang it on a clothesline or hanger to dry.
14. 14 Put or hang the washed items in their places.

Tips

• Do not use the antistatic agent on linen too often, as it can damage clothes, especially towels. Towels then do not absorb water well when you dry yourself after a shower.
• Do not leave your belongings unattended in the washer or dryer as they can be stolen, especially if they are shirts, jeans, etc.
• Do not throw everything together in the wash (white, dark, light), because dark items can color your white clothes.
• Do not leave your belongings unattended in the dryer as other people can change the temperature. As if you left the dryer on a low temperature, and someone changed it for a high temperature, and then you would have to put on tight clothes, or throw them out.

Warnings

• DO NOT OVERFILL YOUR WASHING MACHINE!
• For whites, only use bleach. Use chlorine bleach for whites and oxygen for colored ones.
• Do not leave your belongings unattended in the laundry room, as someone might see a pretty T-shirt or chemise and steal it after the wash cycle is complete.
• If the dryer smells like burning, DO NOT USE IT!
