Steps
Method 1 of 3: Traditional Piña Colada Blending (Simple Method)
Put 1 cup of shaved ice in the blender. Using shaved ice is easiest to blend.
Put 30 ml of coconut milk in the blender. This step will give a faint coconut taste to the delicious drink.
Pour 60 ml of white rum in the blender. The wine will give you a strong, intoxicating taste for the Piña Colada cocktail you desire. If you want to make a non-alcoholic Piña Colada, you can skip this step.
Put 90 ml of pineapple juice in the blender.
Blend all ingredients together. Set blender to medium setting and blend until all ingredients are combined. The finished Piña Colada must be smooth, sweet and creamy.
Pour Piña colada into a glass.
Decorate. Attach a slice of pineapple to a glass for decoration. Or you can also add a Maraschino cherry to the cocktail. Enjoy Piña Colada on a hot summer day or whenever you like.

Method 2 of 3: Blending a Fatty Piña Colada Cool
Grind 2 cups of shaved ice. Fill the blender with ice and grind on fast mode to remove large ice cubes and smooth the chilled Piña Colada.
Put the rest of the ingredients in the blender. Add 90 ml of coconut milk, 180 ml of coconut juice, 45 ml of whipped cream and 60 ml of white Rum in a blender.
Grind all ingredients at high speed for 15 seconds. Blend until ingredients form a cold, thick mixture.
Pour the drink into a glass. You can use any kind of glass, but a Hurricane glass or tall glass will look better.
Decorate the drink with a Maraschino cherry. Pair the cherries and place them on the edge of the glass.
Plug the straw into the glass of water. It is best to sip the cool Piña Colada with a straw.

Advice
- You can prepare more than 1 cocktail using double or triple the amount of ingredients.
- If you find the Piña Colada too thin after you grind it, add crushed ice and blend it again.
Warning
- When looking to buy coconut milk, you should buy products that are labeled "Coconut Milk" instead of "Coconut Water". These are two completely different products.
- Do not prepare more than 3 cups of Piña Colada at a time. Most grinders cannot grind the quantity of ingredients for 3 cups of Piña Colada so the ingredients will not mix well.
