Today's wikiHow teaches you how to contact YouTube to deal with common issues like content errors, abuse, privacy issues, and copyright claims. While you can create chats with YouTube through social media or the Creator Support Team (if you are a qualified partner), there is practically no viable way to reach out. and get a response from YouTube. Note: YouTube doesn't have an email address or a phone number for you to contact directly, even if you call the support line, there is only an automatic voice telling you to use the YouTube Help support center - select choose the best in all cases.

Method 1 of 7: By social media
Be aware that contacting YouTube via social media does not necessarily create a conversation. YouTube maintains an active social network, but they rarely respond to comments on tagged posts or live posts. In the rare event that you initiate a discussion with a YouTube employee, there will also be no subjective side feedback (such as confirmation that your issue is being processed or manual. using the YouTube Help center).
Send a tweet on YouTube. One of the most promising ways to get in touch with YouTube is by using Twitter, you can submit a comment directly to their page:- Open Twitter by visiting https://www.twitter.com (on your computer) or click on the Twitter app icon (on your phone) and log in.

- Sign in with your Facebook account when prompted.

Method 2 of 7: Contact the Creator Support Team
You must be eligible to do this. YouTube isn't clear on what users need to do to "qualify" to send an email to the Creator Support Team, but first you must be a YouTube partner and have at least 10,000 channel views ever.
- Some creators fit the criteria above, but still can't email YouTube because they have just hit 10,000 views recently.
You must have a computer. We cannot access YouTube Creator Support Team on smartphone or tablet.
Open YouTube. Go to https://www.youtube.com/, then click SIGN IN (Login) in the top right corner and enter your YouTube account information.
Click your profile icon in the upper right corner of the page. A drop-down menu will appear.
Click Help (Help). This option is near the bottom of the drop-down menu.
Click Need more help? (Need more help?). This option is at the top of the menu. Another drop-down menu will appear.
Choose a category. Click the topic related to the current reason you'd like to contact YouTube from the drop-down menu.
Click Email Support (Email support). This option could be Get Creator resources (Get Creator Resources). A list of topics will appear.
- Again, if you aren't eligible to contact YouTube in this way, you won't see a link Email Support.
Email the Creator Support Team. After confirming that you have access to the Creator Support Team's resources, proceed as follows:
- Choose a category related to your issue.
- Click on the link contact the Creator Support team (contact the Creator Support team).
- If you don't see this link, go back and choose another category.
- Enter your first, last name, email address, and channel URL in the available fields.
- Scroll down and enter your problem or opinion in the "How can we help you?" Text box. (How can we help you?).
- Check "Yes" or "No" below the "Is your issue about a specific video?" (Your problem about a particular video?), Then proceed with other additional instructions if available.
- Click SUBMIT (To send).
Method 3 of 7: Report abuse
Try video report or comment first. When you report spam or abuse of a comment or video, that content is in YouTube's sights.
Open the reporting tools page. Go to https://www.youtube.com/reportabuse using your usual web browser.
Choose a reason. Click the checkbox to the left of one of the reasons at the top:
- Harassment and Cyberbullying Harassment and online threats. This option is used to report verbal abuse, bullying, or mild threats.
- Impersonation - Impersonation. This option is used to report spoofing channels that are impersonating some root channel.
- Violent Threats - Threats of violence. This option is used to report channels with threatening content.
- Child Endangerment Dangerous for children. This option is used to report videos in which children are placed in potentially dangerous or stressful environments.
- Hate Speech Against a Protected Group - Hostile incite words against the protected group. This option is used to report hate language.
- Spam and Scams - Spam and fraudulent activity. This option is used to report spam or phishing comments.
Select related information. Depending on the reason you choose, the available options will vary:
- Harassment and Cyberbullying Click Confirm (Confirm) when prompted, check the box below the "HARASSMENT AND CYBERBULLYING" heading and proceed according to any instructions provided.
- Impersonation Click the checkbox below the "IMPERSONATION" heading, enter the channel name (or two channel names), click tiếp tục (Continue) and fill out the form that appears.

Method 4 of 7: Report a security issue
Open Security Report page. You can report privacy issues when using Google here.
Select the problem. Check the box to the left of the respective problem you have:
- I'm experiencing a security problem with my Google account - I'm having a security problem with my Google account.
- I want to remove content on Google Search, Youtube, Blogger, or another service - I want to remove content on Google Search, Youtube, Blogger or other service.
- I have a privacy doubt or a privacy-related question about Google products and services - I have privacy doubts or privacy-related questions about Google products and services.
- I found a security bug in Google "forgot password" feature - I found a security error in Google's "forget password" feature.

Method 5 of 7: Copyright Claim Report
Open the copyright removal page. Go to https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2807622 using your usual web browser.
Click SUBMIT A COPYRIGHT COMPLAINT (Submit a copyright complaint). This green button is in the middle of the page.
- Note: submitting false claims can cause your account to be suspended.
- If you aren't logged into your YouTube account, you will be asked to enter your email address and password to continue.
Check the "Copyright infringement" box in the middle of the group of options on the page.
Choose affected people. Check one of the following boxes:
- I am! - Myself!
- My company, organization, or client My company, organization, or client.
Fill out the form that appears. To report piracy, you need to provide information about the organization and agree to all published terms.
Click Submit Complaint (Submit complaint). This green button is at the bottom of the page.A copyright complaint will be submitted for review by YouTube.
- If YouTube takes action with the channels listed, you won't receive verification either.
Method 6 of 7: Report a privacy complaint
Open the Privacy Complaint page. Go to https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/142443 using your web browser.
- This form will report who posted your personal or private information on YouTube.
- Fill out the privacy complaint form only if you have contacted the alleged privacy infringer.

- Your legal first name - Name on ID card.
- Your legal last name - Last name is on ID card.

- Email address - The email address you use to sign in to YouTube.
Enter the channel URL. Enter the web address of your channel that has committed a breach of your privacy in the "Please include the URL of the channel ..." field.
Add the video URL. Enter the web address of the video on the channel that violated the privacy you mentioned earlier in the "Please include the URL (s) of the video (s) in question" field.
Select the type of information to be violated. Check the box next to the specific information type in the "Please indicate the information you wish to report" section, then check the box next to where the information appears in the next section. follow.
Add a timestamp. Enter the time your information was disclosed or discussed in the "Where in the video" field.
- Maybe a checkbox "Yes" or "No" will appear under "Has this content been copied from your own channel or video?" (Was the content copied from your own channel or video?).
- Maybe a tick box that says "I am the legal guardian of a child or dependent in this video" will be displayed for you to click if necessary.
Enter additional information. Enter any additional information that you feel is necessary to clarify the context of the video, channel, or about the information that has appeared in the corresponding text field.
- This is also a good place to list the history of the channel owner in question or give details about your discovery so far (such as making it clear that you contacted this channel. and request to take your information down).

Open the "Contact Us" page. Go to https://www.youtube.com/t/contact_us using a commonly used web browser.
Scroll down to the "Our Address" section near the bottom of the "Contact Us" page.

Compose. Whether you're giving compliments or trying to report your account issue to YouTube, make sure the message is concise, polite, and relatively short.- Note: YouTube has over 1 billion monthly users, so the chances of YouTube reviewing and responding to your message are slim.
- The shorter the message, the more likely it is to be reviewed by YouTube.
