1 Wash and dry your hair. This product adheres better to clean, dry hair.

2 Soften the lipstick by heating it with a hairdryer for a few seconds. Especially when using thick lipstick, it is hard and does not spread well on the palms.

3 Apply a small drop of the product to your palms and distribute evenly over them. It is better to add as needed than to apply too much.

Method 2 of 3: Modeling short hair with lipstick

1. 1 Use lipstick to create texture or spikes. Rub the product evenly into the part of the hair you want to style. Start at the roots and use your fingers to form an image.
2. 2 Create a sleek hairstyle with a fine-toothed comb. You can also smooth your hair without using a comb. Apply more lipstick to keep the hair in place.

Method 3 of 3: Modeling Long Hair with Lipstick

1. 1 Use lipstick to create a sleek ponytail, apply a small amount to the ends and top of your hair while tucking it into the back of your head.
2. 2 Tie a smooth bun with lipstick, rubbing it into your hair and gathering it at the back of your head. Twist the tail into a tourniquet and fasten with hairpins. If any strands fall out, spread them with a product to fix.
3. 3 Create curls by hand by applying the pomade to your hair, starting from the middle of the length to the ends. This method works well for people with curly hair who live in humid climates where the curls are disheveled.
4. 4 Separate and accentuate the layers by applying lipstick to the ends of your hair. This can be done with your fingertips, rubbing in the product and dividing the edges to show the structure.

Tips

• To make the lipstick more firmly in the hair, mix it with the gel. Add a couple of drops of gel to it before spreading the lipstick over your palms, so you can fix your curls. Spray with hairspray to help keep the hairstyle in place.

Warnings

• If you use lipstick often enough, be sure to rinse it off at night. If you do not do this, there is a risk of acne in the forehead area, due to the fact that the lipstick clogs the pores.
