Peel off the protective layer and apply the tape to the nail. Fit a piece of tape over the nail, and then peel off the protective layer on one side of the tape. Carefully apply the tape to the nail, then place your finger on the top (non-stick) side of the tape to press it flat.

• If the tape has folds or air bubbles inside after you've been glued, remove and stick another patch.
• You can only apply one nail at a time.

Peel off the protective plastic from the top of the tape. After applying the tape to the nail, carefully peel off the protective plastic on the top. Now you have nothing else but the peel off the protective tape.

• Be careful not to touch the tape after you have peeled off the last protective layer.

Start applying fake nails at the nail bed site. Line the bottom edge of the nail in line with the natural nail bed or nail bed. Then carefully place the fake nails on top of the tape. Gently press the nail over the tape to remove air bubbles and make sure the nail is firm.

• The glue will stick right away and you don't have to wait for the nail to dry.

Stick the remaining nails in the same way. After you've glued the first nail, stick the rest of the nail set. It may take a little practice to peel off the protective tape after you've almost applied the nail, but you will get used to it if you use the inside of your finger instead of the tip of your finger.

• This is a quick fix, especially if you don't have a dry wait!

Peel off the tape to remove the fake nails. You can easily remove fake nails that are glued with tape. Carefully and gently peel off the nail from the tape, then remove the tape from your real nails. advertisement

Method 2 of 3: Apply fake nails with transparent nail polish

1. 

   Prepare real nails. Wash your hands and use a desiccant spray to spray on your nails. If you don't have a desiccant, use an acetone-free nail polish remover. This is an important step to remove dirt and grease, making the nail polish stick more firmly.

   Use clear nail polish on the underside of the fake nails. Get enough paint to make a fairly thick layer, but not too much so that the paint won't drip down when you apply it. The amount of paint you would normally use to apply on real nails will be a bit too much.
   • You can use any brand of clear nail polish, even glitter. However, avoid using colored paint as it will show up if a little bit of smudge comes out from underneath the nail when you apply it.
   • Or, you can apply paint to real nails first.

   Apply fake nails and hold them in place for 30-60 seconds. When the nail polish has become sticky, but not yet dry, line up the bottom edge of the nail bed with the nail bed. Press the fake nail onto the real nail and hold it for 30-60 seconds to dry.
   • Don't let the fake nail slip back and forth while you hold it with your hand, or the polish will not form a strong bond with the real nail.

   Continue to stick the remaining nails and stick them one by one. Since you will need to hold each nail in place for a full minute, this technique requires patience. Once done, however, you'll have a new set of nails that can last for days!
   • Although you only need to hold each nail in place for about a minute, the polish will take 1-2 hours to dry completely, so don't press or pull too hard against the nail during that time.

   Dip your nails in the nail polish remover to remove the artificial nails. To remove nail polish from fake nails, you must remove the polish. Pour the polish remover into a shallow bowl and dip your nails in it for 5-10 minutes. Then gently peel off the fake nails.
   • Don't try to tear your fake nails open, as this will hurt and damage your real nails.

Method 3 of 3: Use foundation paint and milk glue

1. 

   Press the fake nail against the glue and hold it for 30-60 seconds. Align the fake nail in line with the real nail and press it into place. Press lightly and hold for 30 seconds to 1 minute to wait for the glue to dry.
   • Don't let the fake nail slip back and forth while the glue is not dry, as this will affect the bond between the glue and the nail.

   Remove artificial nails by dipping them in nail polish remover. Pour a little paint remover into a small dish. Dip your finger in the solution for about 10 minutes and then gently remove the nail. Do not peel or lift your nails without first soaking them in the nail polish remover to avoid damaging your real nails. advertisement

Advice

• If you want to show a game to children with temporary nails, try using dry glue to keep your nails.
• To remove your nails that are glued with tape, use some nail oil. Put a drop on the contour under the nail and wait a few seconds. The nail will spread easily.
