Do you have too many cars in Grand Theft Auto 5? Are you looking to sell more? While you cannot sell your vehicle in Single-player mode (play alone), you can sell it in GTA Online (play online). This article shows you how to sell a car in GTA Online.

Steps

1. 

   Go to GTA Online. During game play, press the Options or Menu button on the controller or the "Esc" button on the personal computer (PC) to open the in-game menu. Here, select the "Online" tab at the far right of the menu screen to enter Grand Theft Auto Online.
   • If you're playing on Playstation 4 or Xbox One, you must subscribe to Playstation Plus or Xbox Live to play online games.

   Select the character you want to use. The character that you will be using to play the online mode is different from the character you are using to play the story mode. Press the arrow buttons to select the character you want, press "X" on the Playstation, "A" on Xbox, or "Enter" on the personal computer. You will be connected to the online game.
   • If you've never played Grand Theft Auto Online, you'll need to create a character.

   Search for the car you want to sell. Walk around the city, search for the car you want to sell and steal it. You can also get a car from the garage.
   • Conventional cars can sell for anywhere between $ 1,000 and $ 2,000, while sports cars can sell for as much as $ 9,000. When you see a vehicle you want to sell, get in and drive away.

   Go to Los Santos Customs. This is the car tuning shop in the game. This store has an icon that looks like an aerosol on the map. There is one store in Los Santos and one in Harmony.
   • You can only sell cars in GTA Online. You cannot sell a vehicle in Single-player mode.

   Into the garage. After arriving at Los Santos Customs, park your car in front of the garage and wait for the door to open. Drive inside and the shop menu will appear.
   • If you are being wanted, the garage door will not open.

   Selection Sell. This option is in the menu that appears when you drive into the garage. Press the arrow buttons to highlight the “Sell” option in the menu. Press "X" on the Playstation, "A" on the Xbox, or "Enter" on the PC to select "Sell".

   Selection Sell once again. This is the confirmation that you want to sell and proceed to sell the vehicle. Cash will be added to the amount you currently have in the top right corner of the screen. advertisement
