- If your hair is very thick and long, add a teaspoon of olive oil.
- If your hair is short, use only one teaspoon of olive oil.
- To separate eggs easily, break the eggs by hitting the edge of the bowl. Keep the egg straight in the bowl and carefully remove the top half of the shell. Push the yolks from half of eggshell to half so that the whites fall into the bowl.
Beat whites with olive oil. Fill the egg white bowl with olive oil and beat until smooth and fluffy. You should get half a cup of mask mixture enough to cover medium-length hair.

- If your hair is short, use just a teaspoon of olive oil or remove the egg whites.
- Honey
- Aloe vera gel
- Milk
- The avocado or banana is really ripe
Replace olive oil with other oils. If this is your first time making a mask, olive oil is great. You may also be interested in trying other oils to see if they are right for your hair. Try one of the following oils next time as a mask:
- Jojoba Oil: For oily and normal hair
- Almond oil: for normal and dry hair
- Coconut oil: for dry hair
- Cow Milk Butter: To condition hair and prevent graying
Fragrant hair mask. If you want the hair mask to smell like a stylish salon and not your kitchen, try adding essential oils to the mixture. A few drops of essential oil will quickly make a change to the hair mask. While you wait for the mask to penetrate into your hair, you can enjoy the aromatherapy benefits. Try adding five to ten drops of one of these essential oils:
- Lavender
- rose
- Lemongrass lemon
- Thyme grass
- Rosemary grass
Advice
- The longer you keep the mask on, the softer your hair will be.
- Before applying the mask, massage the scalp for five minutes, helping the blood flow to the head.
