Are you looking for money in the wrong places? Online surveys are one great way to replenish your income on your own time and with little effort. To find legitimate sites, go through the registration process, and be eligible to take surveys, follow these instructions.

1. Be prepared. Interviewers are looking for specific types of people, and while you won't be eligible for every questionnaire (if you're a 25-year-old healthy hipster and they're looking for a 60-year-old sloth, they just won't pick you).
2. Complete the questionnaires. Many survey companies offer screening questionnaires when you sign up, which are usually not paid.
   • However, it is an important first step, and it is well worth taking the time to complete those questionnaires because the more demographic information the market research companies have about you, the more surveys they can send you.
   • Remember, you will only get surveys that you can actually contribute to, so if you don't fill in the screening questions to get through them faster, you will have fewer opportunities to complete surveys.
3. Check regularly! Check both the site and your email regularly for survey opportunities. Some companies offer surveys more often than others - and you certainly don't want to miss out!
   • Each survey site will only offer a few surveys per month. The more companies you register, the more surveys you will be able to complete.
   • Set up a rule for your email so that all survey-related emails are flagged, beep when they arrive, and appear at the top of your list. Anything to make them stand out will help.
4. Choose and complete the best surveys. If you have multiple surveys available, you can be choosy and choose the ones you find most rewarding. If time is not an issue, you can fill them all in. You are not required to complete a survey if you do not want to.

1. Search, but be careful. There are many legitimate survey companies, and there is a lot of money to be made. This of course means that there are also malicious people who want to earn a few euros without working for it. This is how you can get around scammers:
2. Never pay in advance. Some companies will charge you for a small prepayment to see their survey lists, which is completely unnecessary. View Terms of use, FAQs, or any other section on a survey company's site that provides information about how a company operates.    • Be aware of the fine print. For example, some websites will say you won an Xbox360 or new laptop, but if you look closely you will usually see an asterisk in the "you won" section. Be especially careful with phrases such as "you may have already won," or "new laptop is based on purchase of gummy bears worth $ 3,500 or more." Don't fall for this; they are ridiculously complicated and not worth the effort.

1. Create an email account specifically for surveys. This will keep junk mail out of your normal inbox. They may say they won't resell your data, but less trustworthy companies can give it away in return. Once your data is public, it will remain so.
2. Sign up with legitimate companies. You will normally be asked for basic information such as your name, email address, date of birth, gender and address. Later, you will also need to provide payment information so that you can receive your earned money.

3. Check your email. After registration, companies will send a verification email to the email address you provided. Open this email and activate your account to confirm.
4. Add the site's email address to your address book. Otherwise, your email account could automatically mark a message as spam.

Tips

• Surveys yield only a few euros on average, but take relatively little time. Even if you only earn 2 Euro in a few minutes a day, after a month you will have 60 Euro!
• Teens can also take surveys for money, but should always investigate whether a company will allow their participation.

Warnings

• Do not give your phone number, because then you could be called by telemarketers. Some can even bypass do-not-call registries because you signed up to get information.
• Don't agree with anything that sounds too good to be true.
• Many online survey websites have spyware and viruses, so be careful.
• Wonder what your goal is. Surveys are a great way to earn some extra pocket money, but they won't let you quit your job. If you want to earn more than $ 75 per month online, you should look into affiliate programs.
• Most survey sites (and their partners) will send you a lot of spam.
