This article will teach you how to close unused apps on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

Steps

1. 1 Unlock your device. To do this, press the power button (located in the upper right side of the device), enter the password, or place your finger on the Home button.
   • The device must be turned on and unlocked, only in this case you will be able to manage the applications installed on it.
2. 2 Press the Home button twice. It's a round button under the screen of the device. All open applications will appear on the device desktop.
3. 3 Select the app you want to close and drag it to the edge of the screen. The app will close when it disappears.
   • Repeat the process for all applications you want to close.
4. 4 Press the Home button again to return to the desktop.
