Baccarat is an addictive game often played by the richest people in the world and is also James Bond's favorite card game. This is an extremely dramatic game in which players place blind bets on one of two outcomes - either the Banker or the Player wins. You need to have a lot of willpower to play Baccarat, the rules can be learned quickly enough, and you can also learn how to place smart, safe bets to take the lead in the table. Steps

Method 1 of 2: Rules

1. 1 Deal of cards. First, from a special box with cards ("clogs"), which usually contains 8 decks of cards, players are dealt two cards each. One playing party is called the "Gambler", the other is the "Banker". Any number of players can place bets on the winnings of one side or the other.
   • The sabo moves in a clockwise circle from one player to the next, although the player has the right to refuse the surrender. The dealer deals 2 cards and bets on the Banker, usually the casino representative who is in charge of the chips. First, the cards are dealt to the Player's side, then to the Banker's side.
   • Sometimes, when shuffling decks, the first card is turned over and shows how many cards the dealer must discard from the deck for each side. For example, if the first card is 2 hearts, the dealer will draw 2 cards from the deck during the shuffle.
2. 2 How to count cards. Typically, the denominations of the cards are added together to get a number between 0 and 9 on each side. The suit doesn't matter. Tens and picture cards are worth 10 points, aces are worth 1 point, cards 2 through 9 are equal to their face value. When the cards are added, the tens are removed, leaving the ones. In other words, picture cards are worth 0 points, not 10.
   • For example, if you got 7 and 5 in the course of the deal, then you will have a total of 12 points. In this case, we remove the tens - there remains 2. In Baccarat, it is impossible to “go over the cards”, as in blackjack, although buyouts are governed by a certain set of rules.
   • In case of a tie, the player misses the move, bets are returned and the cards are re-dealt.
3. 3 Find out how buyout works. The third card can be opened for the player and the banker in the following cases:
   • If the player has 8 or 9 points in his hand, both sides do not get the buy-in. This rule defines any other rules for buyouts.
   • If the Player has 5 points or less in his hands, the Player takes the buy-in. The player has the primary right not to buy.
4. 4 Find out when the Banker gets the buy-in. If the Player has 6 points or more in his hands, the Banker gets the buy-in with 5 points or less in his hands. If the Player buys, everything depends on the value of the Player's buy-in and the account with the Banker.
   • If the player's third card is 9, 10, a picture card or an ace, the Banker declares a draw if he has 0-3 points, and continues to play at 4-7.
   • If Player's third card is 8, the Banker declares a draw if he has 0-2 points, and continues to play at 3-7.
   • If Player's third card is 6 or 7, the Banker declares a draw if he has 0-6 and continues to play at 7.
   • If Player's third card is 4 or 5, the Banker declares a draw if he has 0-5 and continues to play at 6-7.
   • If Player's third card is 2 or 3, the Banker declares a draw if he has 0-4 and continues to play at 5-7.
   • According to these rules, in most casinos, the banker at the table will take an additional card. Just like in roulette, the only decision you have to make when playing Baccarat is to bet on the Banker or on the Player, while the cards are under the control of the dealer or the banker at the table. It is good if you know these rules, however, they are absolutely unimportant for the very process of the game.

Method 2 of 2: How to place bets

1. 1 Rate the odds. Playing Baccarat is very similar to betting on a coin toss. Basically, you are betting blindly, deciding to put a certain amount of money into the Banker's or Player's winnings before the cards are dealt. However, this is what makes the game interesting, exciting and unpredictable. You really can't control the game with different strategies, which makes it popular with dignitaries.
   • To be honest, the chances of predicting the outcome of the game are very small: the house edge for bets on the pot is 1.06%, on the Player - 1.24%.
2. 2 Track your victories. Often casinos provide players with a card to count and track their wins on a particular side. Since the game has been around for a long time, many have tried to develop a betting strategy and develop their own pattern for long-term winning money.
   • Check whether you are betting on the Banker or on the Player, check the box next to your correct applications. Monitor templates for further refinement. Act on them. Get a feel for the table, the way you play, and place your bets accordingly.

4. 4 When in doubt, bet on the Banker. It is common for the dealer to bet on the Banker and continue to deal until the Banker loses. Even if you are not the dealer, it is considered safer to bet on the Banker.While there is no strategy in the game between the Banker and the Player, there are certain advantages that can work in your favor.
5. 5 Calculate how much money you are willing to spend. Big money can change hands very quickly in Baccarat. Decide how much money you are ready to play to win with, and when you are ahead, immediately leave the game. As in any gambling game, it is difficult to stay ahead for a long time, so make your money and walk away.
