Trying to get in touch with labels can be a hassle, and often they just don't respond. Read our article and find out what is the best thing for you to do.
Steps
1 People should like your songs. Play them to your friends, but don't say they are your songs and let your friends tell you what they think of them. 
2 Go to the label's website. Most record companies have websites where you can find information on where and to whom to send demo tapes. Also attach a press kit containing your photos, biography, publications on the Internet or in the media. 
3 Don't be discouraged if companies don't respond to you. Keep in mind that every week they receive a lot of demos that are impossible to listen to right away. So be patient. 
4 Submit your demos to multiple companies at once, including indie labels. Some independent labels are directly affiliated with large companies. The more demos you send, the more chances you will be noticed. 
5 Sit down and think. Why do you like this or that performer? You need to convince people that you are no worse than him. 
6 Rehearse. In the music industry, only the fittest survive. But if your music is of poor quality, then no one will listen to it a second time. Try not to burn bridges, and make sure your music is professional before submitting your demo!

- Don't take negative reviews of your music too personally. Let them be a lesson for the future. Learn to listen to criticism.
- To make your dream come true, you will need to work very hard!
- Try to be in plain sight, don't hide behind the camera. If you have talent, then let people know about it!
- Make a couple of video clips. Just try to keep them from being boring.
