1 Choose a T-shirt. This method works for both collared and collared T-shirts.Method 2 of 3: Method Two: Advanced
- 1 Hold the shirt by the collar facing you, with one hand on each shoulder.
- 2 Hold the collar firmly on both sides with your thumbs.
- 3 You will need your thumb to measure the distance. You need to measure 2-3 cm on each side - these are the marks along which you will fold the T-shirt.
- 4 With three free fingers, fold the sides of the shirt over the marks you made (including sleeves, back, and hem). As a result, the T-shirt should look like a long rectangle.
- 5 Take the bottom edge of the shirt and fold it 7cm towards the collar.
- 6 Keep the bottom of the shirt folded in. Fold the shirt in half so that the bottom is flush with the collar.
- 7 Flip the shirt over.
Method 3 of 3: Method Three: Side Fold
- 1 Keep the shirt facing you and fold it in half lengthwise. The sleeves must match.
- 2 Fold the sleeves back (towards the collar).
- 3 Fold the bottom of the shirt over to the bottom of the sleeves.
- 4 Fold the top of the shirt with the sleeves down towards the folded bottom edge.
- 5 Put the shirt back in place.
Tips
- It is more convenient to fold the shirt on a flat surface at first.
- Wait for the shirt to dry completely. So the likelihood of wrinkling is much less.
