Hotmail users can sync email just like iCloud users by adding a Hotmail account to iPhone. Although Hotmail is officially converted to Outlook.com, you can still add your Hotmail account.

Steps

1. 1 Click on the "Settings" icon on the home screen of your iPhone to launch the "Settings" application.
2. 2 Scroll down the page and click on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".
3. 3 Click “Add Account”.
4. 4 Click Outlook.com. Hotmail is officially converted to Outlook.com, but you can add your Hotmail account.
5. 5 Enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields and add a description for the account, such as "Hotmail".
6. 6 Decide if you want to use "Contacts", "Calendars" or "Reminders" with this account; if so, set the switches next to each option to the “On” position.

Tips

• You can view emails from your Hotmail account in the Mail app by clicking the Mailboxes button in the Mail app and then clicking your Hotmail account name.
