This article will show you how to open a command prompt window as administrator in Windows, if you have the appropriate access. If you open the command line as an administrator, you can enjoy more commands and other benefits.
Steps
1 Click on ⊞ Win+S. The Windows search bar will open. 
2 Enter cmd. The search results are displayed. 
3 Right click on Command line. This option is marked with a black square with white symbols. 
4 Click on Run as administrator. The "Administrator: cmd.exe" window opens. In this window enter the required command (s).
