1 Straighten your hair. Straight strands work best for bow hairstyles because they emphasize the direction of hair movement. It is advisable, although not necessary, to at least partially straighten your hair before starting to tie the bow.

2 Comb through your hair with a comb or brush to remove any knots. If you have very thick or curly hair, apply a serum so it is comfortable to work with and does not slip out on all sides.

3 Pull your hair back. Collect them at the top, leaving only the bangs, if you have any. Make a ponytail and tie with an elastic band, but half as tight as usual. If you always tie the elastic around the tail three times, then this time limit yourself to one, if four times - wrap the elastic twice. Make sure it's not tight.

4 Make a bow. On the last turn of the elastic, pull the hair out a third and stop. Flip the elastic over, pull out the rest of the hair by a third and release the elastic. You should have two loops and a tail hanging down. If you have used all the hair, then it is better to pick it up, but if not, then the bow will be good anyway.

5 Decorate the center lintel. Take the resulting ponytail and wrap it around the space between the loops. Tuck in the ends on one side (or both) and pin up so that the ends are not visible.

6 Correct the bow. If the hinges are not quite where you would like, unfold them and pin them with invisible ones to secure. Spray with spray. You have finished making the bow!

Tips

• Try it out at home before going to school or work with it. You will understand how firmly it holds and how much spray you need so that the strands do not crumble and a gap does not form in the bow.
