In Minecraft, the pickaxe is an essential tool. It is needed in order to collect various minerals, for example, blocks of iron, stone, gold, etc. We will tell you how to do it.

Method 1 of 5: How to make a wooden pickaxe

This is the simplest pickaxe in the Minecraft game.

1. 1 If you don't already have a pickaxe, the easiest pickaxe you can make is a wooden pickaxe.
2. 2 Place the stick on the workbench in the lower middle slot.
3. 3 Put another stick in the center slot.
4. 4 Put a block of wood in all of the top slots.
5. 5 Make a pickaxe. Drag it to your inventory.

Method 2 of 5: How to make a stone pickaxe

1. 1 You can collect the cobblestone with a wooden pickaxe.
2. 2 Open the workbench.
3. 3 Place the sticks in the same way as in the first step.
4. 4 Place a cobblestone instead of wood in the top three slots.
5. 5 Make a stone pickaxe. Drag to inventory.

Method 3 of 5: How to make an iron pickaxe

1. 1 You can collect iron with a stone pickaxe. Smelt iron in a furnace.

3. 3 Put the sticks in exactly the same way as before.
4. 4 Place the iron ingots in the same way as the cobblestone in the upper slots.

Method 4 of 5: How to make a diamond pickaxe

This is the best and toughest pickaxe in the game.

1. 1 Collect diamonds with an iron pickaxe.
2. 2 Open the workbench.
3. 3 Place the sticks in the center two bottom slots as before.
4. 4 Place the diamonds in the top three slots.
5. 5 Make a pickaxe and drag it to your inventory.

Method 5 of 5: How to Make a Golden Pickaxe

This is a pretty useless pickaxe. But, if you still want to do it, read on.

1. 1 Collect the gold with an iron pickaxe. Smelt gold into bars.
2. 2 Open the workbench.
3. 3 Place the sticks in the center bottom two slots.
4. 4 Put gold in the top three slots.
5. 5 Make a pickaxe and drag it to your inventory.
