1 Choose the person you will be cartooning.

2 Choose a pencil.

3 Draw a small body, dressed in the clothes he wears when he does his hobby (for example, riding breeches).

4 Draw a large head, exaggerating its dimensions. For example, if the person has a wide forehead, accentuate this by drawing an oversized forehead. If it is narrow compared to your normal forehead, draw a very narrow forehead.

5 Draw the hair. If the person has curly hair, give your drawing very curly hair. If he has long hair, draw the hair down to the floor, etc.

6 Draw bright eyes. If the person has long eyelashes, make them very long.

7 Draw the nose. The nose can be straight, long, pointed, thick, etc.

8 Draw the mouth. The lips are easy to paint. They should be narrow or very chubby, straight or not, etc. If a person has good teeth, exaggerate their straightness, if he has large teeth, make them giant, if the teeth are crooked, cross them. Unleash the madness!

5. 5 Exaggerate and play with the facial features you learned earlier. Don't think about realism, but base your drawing on what you see.
6. 6 Don't forget to add small details like hair, freckles and teeth.
