There is nothing quite as refreshing on a sunny day or a day when you crave chocolate! The taste is incomparable, and when you mix everything in a blender, it becomes frothy and as beautiful as it tastes good.
Ingredients
- 240 ml milk
- 3 tablespoons (52.5 g) chocolate syrup
- 1 drop of vanilla or almond extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Steps
1 Pour 240 ml of cold milk into a tall glass.
2 Add 3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup or 3 tablespoons of melted chocolate to 6 tablespoons of water. Stir thoroughly until completely dissolved. Use a blender for frothy chocolate milk.
3 Add a serving of vanilla, banana, or even almond extract!
4 Then sprinkle the mixture with a generous amount of cinnamon.
5 Adding a little sugar or sweetener is a great way to decorate your milk!
Tips
- For best results, chocolate milk syrup is recommended. Chocolate powder is less desirable as it does not always dissolve well and can form lumps.
- Hershey's Milk Chocolate Syrup is best for ultimate taste satisfaction.
- Add more or less syrup to your liking. If there is too much chocolate, try adding a little more milk. If not enough chocolate, add some more chocolate syrup.
- If you don't have syrup, use one whole Hershey chocolate bar, which is about 3 tablespoons, and melt in 6 tablespoons of water. Then add to milk.
- Another tasty idea: Mix chocolate milk with syrup, add a few drops of vanilla extract and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- For a healthier drink, use skim milk, soy milk, or 1% skim milk syrup.
- You can put everything in a saucepan and heat it up and you have hot chocolate.
- For a different flavor, add iced coffee cubes or instant coffee blend.
- Add chocolate powder to a container that is tightly closed and add milk. Close container tightly. Shake the closed container for 2-3 minutes.
- If you don't have syrup, use a hot chocolate powder mixture to make a paste with hot water. Pour in milk and stir. Yummy!
Warnings
- Dark chocolate tastes noticeably different from milk chocolate, so check what you are using!
