This article will teach you how to transfer videos from your Android phone or tablet to your PC. You can send shorter videos to yourself via email. For larger files, it is more convenient to connect your Android to your computer with a USB cable or upload the video file to Google Drive.

Method 1 of 3: Transfer videos from Android to PC via email

1. Press the icon Press Gallery. This will open your library of photos and videos.
2. Tap the video you want to transfer to PC.
3. Press the icon Press the E-mail option.
4. Tap inside the To text field. Enter an email address that you can check from your PC.
5. Press To send.
6. Open an internet browser on a PC. Open the email you just sent to yourself. The method you use to open this email will differ depending on your email provider.
7. Right click on the attached video.
8. In the pop-up menu, click Save link as.
   • Depending on your email provider or browser, this option may also be called "Save" or "Download".
9. click on OK. This will open the video on your computer.

Method 2 of 3: Transfer large videos to Google Drive

1. Tap the Google Drive icon to open the app. The icon resembles a green, yellow and blue stylized triangle.
   • If you need to download the app, tap the Apps icon at the bottom of the screen, then the Play Store icon, then type "Google Drive" in the search bar at the top of the screen. Select "Google Drive" from the search results and press "Install".
   • If this is your first time using the app, you will be asked to sign in with your Google account information.
2. Tap the multi-colored icon with the plus sign. This icon is almost at the bottom right of the screen.
3. Press the icon with the name Upload. This icon resembles an upward pointing arrow above a straight horizontal line.
4. Press Photos and videos. This will open your media library.
5. Tap the video you want to transfer to PC and then tap Upload. The option to upload is in the top right corner of the screen.
6. Go to your computer and visit drive.google.com.
   • If you are not currently logged in to Google on the computer, you will be prompted to log in when you visit the website.
7. Press Recent. This option is on the left of the Google Drive screen. You may have to scroll down a bit to see it.
8. Right click on the name of the video you just uploaded. This will open a context menu.
9. Click in the context menu Download. The video will now be downloaded to your computer.

Method 3 of 3: Transfer videos via USB cable

1. Unlock your Android phone or tablet. Enter your passcode to unlock the device.
2. Connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable. The small end goes into your device and the large end into your computer.
   • The exact location of the USB plug depends on your hardware, but the mini USB plug is usually at the bottom. On laptops, the port is usually on the side, and on desktop computers, usually at the front or rear.
3. Press the notification on your device Charge this device via USB.
4. Press File transfer. This will open a file transfer window on the computer.
5. Double click on the folder containing your videos.
   • The exact name of the folder containing the videos varies depending on the device, but is usually located in the DCIM folder, the Camera folder, the Photos folder, or the Videos folder.
6. Drag and drop the videos from your phone to your PC and let go.
   • To drag and drop, click on a video and hold down the mouse button. Then move the video to a folder on your PC and release the mouse button.
