Nothing spoils the taste of good tobacco like a dirty bong. Fortunately, washing the bong is not that difficult, so you can do it often. Keep your bong clean using the methods described in this article. After, light up a cigarette to reward yourself for your work.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Cleansing the body

1. 1 Take the bong apart. Disassemble it so you can clean every part of it. Disassemble every part that can be disassembled, especially the bowl and section, if any.
2. 2 Rinse the bong. Rinse the entire bong with water and let it dry. Use water as warm as possible.
3. 3 Add salt. Pour regular salt into the bowl and into the thin section. You can use a funnel to make it easier to add salt. Use as much salt as needed for your bong. For a regular bong, you will need about half a cup of salt.
   • You can also use baking soda if you like the taste better.
4. 4 Pour in the cleaning solution. Pour in a sufficient amount of your favorite cleanser. The amount depends on the size of the bong, but for a regular bong you need half a cup of the solution, but it's worth experimenting.
   • Some people use rubbing alcohol, others use regular cleansers, which is not recommended. There are people who use natural products like vinegar, while others use mouthwash to keep the bong tastes good.
   • An alternative solution is to use Formula 420 instead of salt.
5. 5 Shake it up. Close all the holes to prevent spills and shake the bong well. The longer you shake the bong, the better.
6. 6 Rinse and repeat. Pour the cleaning solution into the sink and rinse the bong well. Repeat the entire procedure if desired. To reduce the cleaning time of your bong, wash it more often.
7. 7 Use all necessary cleaning tools. You can use cotton swabs, pipe brushes, test tube brushes, and whatever else you need to wipe off the dirt and clean your bong.

Method 2 of 2: Cleaning out hard-to-reach areas

1. 1 Reform the hanger. Fold the hanger in half and wrap it a couple of times to secure it in place.
2. 2 Add paper towels. Wrap paper towels and place them on the hanger so that they hang from the end of the hanger.
3. 3 Secure the towels. Secure the paper towels firmly to the hangers using rubber bands.
4. 4 Shape the tool. Bend the hanger to form an English letter "J".
5. 5 Add cleaning solution. Soak a paper towel in isopropyl alcohol, or any other cleanser.
6. 6 Clear all the places you want. Use a coat hanger to rub the inside walls of the bong. Attach the hanger to the desired angle to reach all corners of the bong.

Tips

• Great cleaning tools are baby bottle brushes and cotton swabs. They work well for cleaning hard-to-reach areas.

Warnings

• Do not use dishwashing detergent, otherwise you will drag on Feri for a month.
• Most cleansers are flammable, so don't use them when you smoke.
• If using denatured alcohol, clean the bong in a well-ventilated area.
