You may need a visa if you intend to visit Canada while on vacation, or plan to temporarily live or work there. Canadian authorities will require you to complete a visa application form before you enter this country.For this reason, you should be aware of the rules for obtaining a Canadian visa.

Steps

1. 1 Find out if you need a visa to enter Canada.
   • To do this, visit the website with official information on citizenship and immigration to Canada.
   • Browse the list of countries and find yours.
2. 2 Check the list of countries whose citizens do not need a visa. As a rule, citizens of Great Britain, the USA and other countries indicated in the list are exempted from the visa regime.
   • Obtain the Temporary Resident Visa Application Form. You can do this in two ways.
   • The application forms can be downloaded from the official website.
   • Alternatively, you can get the application forms from the Canadian Visa Application Center in your country.
3. 3 Take out application forms for each family member traveling to Canada with you.
4. 4 Contact your country's Canadian Visa Application Center.
   • Check with the Visa Application Officer about the fees charged for obtaining a visa. In addition, specify how exactly you need to pay the fee.
5. 5 Fill out the application package.
