Smart watches run on different operating systems. If you have an Android watch, learn how to connect it to your smartphone. In this case, you can use the basic functions of your smartphone without taking it out, such as making calls or reading messages.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Standard Connection

1. 1 Turn on Bluetooth on your Android device. Launch the Settings app by tapping the gear-shaped icon on the home screen or in the app drawer. Now tap Network & Internet> Bluetooth. Move the slider to the On position to activate Bluetooth.
2. 2 Make your smartphone discoverable. To do this, tap "Allow other devices to find your phone" and then tap "OK".
3. 3 Turn on your smartwatch. To do this, press the power button until the screen displays an icon in the form of a watch and a mobile phone.
4. 4 Connect your smartwatch to your Android device. Tap “Search for Bluetooth devices” on your smartphone and select your smartwatch from the search results. A code will be displayed on the screen.
   • Make sure that the code on the smartphone screen matches the code on the watch screen, and then tap the checkmark icon on the watch screen. Click "Connect" on your smartphone to connect the two devices.
   • The watch is connected to a smartphone. In order to use some of the smartphone functions via smartwatches, such as syncing, you need a smartwatch app (for example, SpeedUp Smartwatch for SpeedUp watches, SmartWatches or Smart Connect for Sony watches).

Method 2 of 3: SpeedUp SmartWatch

1. 1 Install the SpeedUp Smartwatch app. Do this if you have a SpeedUp smartwatch. The specified application can be downloaded for free here.
2. 2 Turn on Bluetooth on your Android device. Launch the Settings app and tap Network & Internet> Bluetooth. Move the slider to the On position to activate Bluetooth.
3. 3 Make your smartphone discoverable. To do this, tap "Allow other devices to find your phone" and then tap "OK".
4. 4 Launch SpeedUp SmartWatch App. Now make sure the "SpeedUp Smart Watch Bluetooth" function is activated.
5. 5 Find a smartwatch. Click “Search Smart watch” at the bottom of the screen. Make sure your smartwatch is turned on for your Android device to detect it.
6. 6 Connect the watch to your smartphone. All available Bluetooth devices are displayed on the screen. Tap the watch name and then tap Bond.
   • When the pairing message appears, tap the checkmark icon on your smartwatch, then tap Pair on your smartphone. If pairing is successful, tap “Send notification” on your smartphone - it will vibrate.
7. 7 Set up your watch to receive notifications. To do this, tap “Sync settings” at the bottom of the screen.
   • Now click on Activate Notification Service> Accessibility> Just once.
   • Click “SpeedUp Smartwatch” to activate this option. The message "Use Smart watch?" (Use a smart watch?). Click OK. Now notifications will come to the clock.

Method 3 of 3: Smart Connect

1. 1 Install the Smart Connect app. It allows you to connect a Sony smartwatch to your Android device. The specified application can be downloaded for free in the Play Store.
2. 2 Turn on Bluetooth on your Android device. Launch the Settings app and tap Network & Internet> Bluetooth. Move the slider to the On position to activate Bluetooth.
3. 3 Make your smartphone discoverable. To do this, tap "Allow other devices to find your phone" and then tap "OK".
4. 4 Turn on your smartwatch. To do this, press the power button until the screen displays an icon in the form of a watch and a mobile phone.
5. 5 Connect your smartwatch to your Android device. Tap “Search for Bluetooth devices” on your smartphone and select your smartwatch from the search results. A code will be displayed on the screen.
   • Make sure that the code on the smartphone screen matches the code on the watch screen, and then tap the checkmark icon on the watch screen.Click "Connect" on your smartphone to connect the two devices.
6. 6 Start Smart Connect. Click on the smartphone-shaped icon with a blue "S"; the icon is on the home screen.
7. 7 Activate your watch connection. A smart watch icon will appear on the screen with an “Enable / disable” button below it.
   • Click “Enable” to enable the smartwatch. The process of synchronizing the watch with the Android device will start.
