If you are a graphic artist, designer, publisher or photographer, there may come a time when you have to flip an image. This article will show you how to do this using Adobe Photoshop. Note: You can access the following commands from the Image / Rotate Canvas menu.

Steps

1. 1 Open the image you want to flip.
2. 2 Flip horizontally. This will flip the image along the vertical axis and also swap the left and right sides.
3. 3 Go to Image> Rotate Canvas> Flip Horizontal> OK.
4. 4 Flip vertically. This will flip the image along the vertical axis. In other words, it turns the image upside down.
5. 5 Go to Image> Rotate Canvas> Flip Vertical> OK.
6. 6 Ready.
