Send unlimited free messages via your messenger to iPad over Wi-Fi or 3G to stay connected with friends using iPhone, iPod touch, Mac or other iPad.

Steps

1. 1 From the main screen, tap "Messages" to launch the messenger.
2. 2 Click "New Message" (at the top of the screen).
3. 3 Enter a name, iCloud email address, or phone number in the "To" field, or click the "+" button to select a contact from the list.
4. 4 Click in the text box and enter your message text. Click Send.
5. 5 Your message will be sent and you will see it on the screen.

Tips

• Messages can be sent over Wi-Fi or 3G.
• You can turn iMessage on or off by clicking Settings - Messages.

Warnings

• If the contact or number you entered in the To field is not registered with iMessage, a warning appears that the message could not be sent.
