It is important to apply Advantix correctly to your dog in order to get the best flea and tick control results and to prevent infestation.

Steps

1. 1 Find the right dosage for your dog.
   • Advantix is ​​sold in dosages based on dog weight, including small dogs (less than 11 lbs or 5 kg), medium dogs (11-20 lbs or 5-9 kg), large dogs (21-55 lbs or 9.5-25 kg), and very large (over 55 pounds or 25 kg).
   • These dosages are for dogs over 7 weeks old.
2. 2 Place the dog in a rack.
   • This position will cover as much of the body as possible and allow for easy application.
3. 3 Spread the fur on the shoulders and back of the dog until the skin is visible.
4. 4 Turn the tube upside down and remove the cap.
5. 5 Run the tube over the dog's shoulders and back. Squeeze the tube so that the liquid flows out of it in 2-6 different places along the spine from the shoulders to the tail.
   • For dogs with short backs, make 2-3 such spots, and for dogs with long backs, make 4-6 such spots.
   • Make sure the liquid is on the skin and not on the coat.
   • Do not allow liquid to enter the dog's mouth or eyes.
6. 6 Throw the empty tube into the trash can.
   • Do not pour leftover liquid down the drain. Call your solid waste disposal company to find out how to properly dispose of unused liquid.
7. 7 Keep your dog away from cats for at least 1 hour until the liquid is dry.
   • Advantix ingredients are not designed for feline metabolism.
8. 8Reapply once a month.
9. 9 Store closed tubes in a cool dry place. However, don't put them in the refrigerator.

Tips

• Advantix is ​​waterproof. Therefore, you do not need to reapply it if your dog gets wet or bathed.
• Each dosage is sold in a different color package to make it easier to find the right size. The colors of the packages are as follows: green for small dogs, turquoise (green-blue) for medium dogs, red for large dogs, and blue for very large dogs.

Warnings

• Do not use too much Advantix on the dog at one point. Distribute the liquid evenly between the selected points.
• Use only one tube of Advantix per dog once a month.
