Do you like updating the latest news on a regular basis? Google News or Google News is a great platform to keep you updated on worldwide issues.
Steps
Part 1 of 6: Getting Started
Visit Google News. Go to news.google.com/ using your browser. In the search results, click News (News) at the top of the page.
Select item. At the top of the page, you can choose by Headlines, Local News or by location. Click on each title to see what's inside.
Choose a topic. Select a topic that interests you in the left column of the page. For example, you can choose Top Stories, Technology (Technology), Business (Business), Entertainment (Entertainment), Sports (Sports), Science (Science) or Health (Health) ).
Share news. Click the share button located near the title and select the social media platform you want to share, or copy the link from the pop-up. advertisement
Part 2 of 6: Editing List of Items
Go to Settings or Settings. Click Manage sections (Manage Items) at the bottom of the list SECTIONS (CATEGORY) or go directly to the link news.google.com/news/settings/sections
Add new item. Type any topic you like. For example, you can type football (football), Twitter or music (music). Alternatively, you can also add a title (optional).
Save settings. Click ADD SECTION (ADD ITEM) to complete.
Delete or edit items. Scroll down on the "Section" list and click Hide (Hide) to delete an item. You can also drag and drop the mouse to rearrange the list. advertisement
Part 3 of 6: Changing general settings
Open General or General. Click the gear icon in the corner and choose General from the drop-down list.
Turn off automatic news refresh if desired. Unmark Automatically refresh news to turn off automatic page reload feature.
Optionally edit section Sports Scores (Match score). You can enable / disable sports scores and choose between different leagues / sports here. advertisement
Part 4 of 6: Add interest
Access to section Your Interests (Your favorite). Click the gear icon and choose Your Interests from the drop-down list.
Add interest. Type in your preferences in the box.
It is done. You can view news stories about your interests in the section For You (For you). advertisement
Part 5 of 6: Managing positions
Click the gear icon and select 'Local sections' (Local item) from the drop-down list.
Add a new location. Enter a city, city, or postal code in the box.
Click the button ADD LOCATION (ADD LOCATION). You can rearrange the order or delete the current position from here. advertisement
Part 6 of 6: Get the RSS feed link
Choose a theme. Click on your favorite topic from the left sidebar. For example, you can choose sports, business, science or technology.
Scroll to the bottom of the page. Find the link RSS at the bottom of the page and copy the address. It is done! advertisement
Advice
- You can manage your interests and positions to read more stories on topics that interest you.
- The "Fact Check" label will tell users whether claims related to the issue you're looking for are true or false based on the publisher's fact check. This feature is currently only available to users in the US and UK.

- Google News itself does not conduct reality checks, but merely acts as an archive of articles that verify information from other publishers.
