1. 1 Run your fingernail along the tape in both directions. If you feel the edge of the tape, you have achieved your goal.
2. 2 Pour some flour or chalk powder into a cup or other small container.
3. 3 Immerse your finger in the covered powder.
4. 4 Slide this finger over the roll. In this case, the edge of the tape will be marked with a solid white line.
