This article will show you how to change your iPhone ringtone.

Steps

1. 1 Launch the Settings app .
2. 2 Scroll down and tap Sounds. This option is marked with a red square with a white speaker.
3. 3 Click on Ringtone. It's near the top of the Sounds and Vibration Types section.
4. 4 Scroll down and tap on a ringtone. It will become the main ringtone.
   • The melody can be selected in the "Ringtones" or "Alarm melodies" section. Click Classic at the bottom of each section to open additional tunes.
   • Tap Store in the upper-right corner, and then tap Ringtones to view ringtones available for purchase from the iTunes Store.
   • You can also use iTunes to create a ringtone yourself.
   • Use the Contacts app to assign ringtones to specific people.
