Many Pokémon in the Diamond and Pearl games can only be found using the pokéradar, a very useful device that you get towards the end of the game. With it, you can find the rarest Pokémon and even some regular Pokémon that you really want to catch. Use the poker radar wisely, especially if your character is in small grass.

Steps

1. 1 Complete the Sinoch Region Pokédex. You don't have to catch all the Pokémon, the main thing is to see them. When you complete the Pokedex, talk to Professor Oak, who is standing in front of Pal Park, and he will give you a Pokéradar.
2. 2 Go to the grass. The radar only works in low grass, so find one first. Use Repel, with which you will only meet the Pokémon that can be found in the shaky grass (provided that the level of your Pokémon is higher than the level of the wild Pokémon in this location). You also don't have to be on the bike. When you find yourself in the right place, apply the radar.
3. 3 Walk through the shaking grass. You have to remember which patches of grass were cowardly. You will have a better chance of finding the same Pokemon if you go into the distant grass. But watch out, do not step on the extreme patch, as this increases the chance that the radar will no longer find the shaking patch of grass. If this happens, just restart the radar.
4. 4 Restart the radar if necessary. This can be useful if all the shaky grass patches are different from what you've seen before. You should find a shining patch of grass on the radar (you will see the following message “The grassy patch remained silent ...”). Walk 50 steps without stepping into the swampy grass or letting the Repel effect disappear.
5. 5 Defeat the Pokémon you meet. If you defeat a Pokémon you meet. The grass will continue to rustle around you. This will save you time by not having to restart the radar.
6. 6 Perseverance, perseverance and more perseverance! Very often you will come across regular Pokémon. Do not worry. Pokémon that can only be caught with a pokéradar are very rare. If you meet him once, there is a possibility that these Pokémon will start to come across to you more and more often.
7. 7 Go to the sparkling grass. If the grass is sparkling, it is likely that there is an ultra-rare glowing Pokémon in it, so watch out for this opportunity.

Tips

• Do not use the radar while in the middle of the field. Stay close to a long dirt track where you can restart the radar without stopping. It will make your life so much easier.
• Apply Max Repel.The Repel Spray prevents Wild Pokémon from attacking you as you walk towards the quivering grass, allowing you to keep the chain of battle going while the effect is active.
