Daedric equipment is considered the best choice for those who wish to go into battle with the strongest armor and the fiercest weapons. Their jagged edges and imposing black and red color reflect their capabilities - the Dragonborn, clad in Daedric weapons and armor, is a formidable force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. Daedric equipment can be crafted with your own hands if the Blacksmithing skill is sufficiently pumped, but is it possible to get Daedric equipment in another way?

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Obtaining Completed Daedric Weapons and Armor

1. 1 Open the chests of high-level bosses at the end of the dungeons. The easiest way to accidentally find Daedric gear is to level it up high enough and complete as many dungeons as possible. You will need to go through the dungeon, fight monsters, bypass traps, and then defeat the boss at the end of the dungeon. Eventually, you will reach the end of the dungeon, where you will find a large, conspicuous chest with valuable loot - the chest of the dungeon boss. Daedric weapons and armor begin spawning in boss chests at the end of each dungeon (usually before exiting a newly cleared dungeon). All you have to do is travel around Skyrim, find random dungeons, explore and play through.
   • Unenchanted Daedric weapons will start spawning at level 46, and enchanted weapons at level 47. Unenchanted Daedric armor will begin spawning at level 48, and enchanted Daedric armor at 49.
2. 2 Purchase armor from a Dremoor merchant at high levels. If you have the Dragonborn add-on installed, you can find Black Books in the game, which open up various abilities for the player. Black Book: Untold Legends can be found in Benkongerik Cave in Solstheim, and choosing the Black Market ability will allow you to summon a Dremora Merchant for 15 seconds to make a Buy or Sell. Once you reach level 47, the merchant will start selling enchanted and unenchanted Daedric equipment.
   • Dremor Merchant is the only merchant not affiliated with the Thieves Guild who can sell you Daedric armor and weapons.
3. 3 Buy equipment from two Thieves Guild Buyers. Joining the Thieves Guild and passing the Guild quest chain will open access to the buyers of stolen goods, to whom the mono will sell stolen goods, and in return buy various equipment, consumables and components for crafting. Two of these vendors, Tonilla and Nyrania, will occasionally sell Daedric weapons that can be purchased when you reach level 47.
   • Tonilla can be found in the Ragged Flask, and her goods will be unlocked after completing The Safe Roof quest. She will randomly sell various types of Daedric weapons.
   • Nirania can be found in the Windhelm Market and will become available for trade after completing the Shadows of Summerset quest. She usually sells Daedric bows, so it will be much easier for archers to find suitable weapons from Nirania.
4. 4 Kill Noble or Legendary dragons. If you have Dawnguard installed, you will start encountering Noble Dragons at level 59 and Legendary Dragons at level 78. Without careful preparation and proper equipment, they will be very difficult to kill. Preparation includes preparing potions to restore health, restore magic, restore stamina, fire resistance, frost resistance, and magic resistance. Having enchanted gear that increases resistance to fire, frost, and magic will also help you survive their devastating attacks. In addition, shouts such as Dragon Slayer and Ethereal are especially useful against these types of dragons, as they will help you survive their nasty flame attacks and Siphon Life Shouts.However, the fact that Daedric equipment can be obtained from their bodies makes killing them an especially enjoyable reward for their efforts.

Method 2 of 2: Using the Atronach Forge

1. 1 Craft your own Daedric equipment. If you are a mage who has a sigil stone from the "Ritual Spell of Conjuration" quest, then you can create Daedric weapons and armor using the atronach forge in Midden. You will need to complete certain steps in order to use the forge to craft Daedric equipment, as well as collect the necessary components for this process. This makes the whole process more difficult than simply increasing the Blacksmithing skill, but it is still a viable option for crafting Daedric equipment without investing a single point in Blacksmithing.
2. 2 Take out the Sigil Stone. Raise your Spellcraft skill to level 90, join the College of Winterhold and speak with Finis Gestor. He will give you the quest "Ritual Spell of Sorcery", and ask you to bring him a sigil stone. He will teach you the spell of summoning a free dremoor, which will need to be used to summon the said dremoor. Summon and kill the Dremora twice and he admits defeat. Summon the Dremora again and he will appear with a Sigil Stone. Give the stone to Finis Gestor and he will use it to give you the Fire Thrall spellbook and then give the stone back.
3. 3 Place the SIGIL STONE in the Atronach Forge. After retrieving the Sigil Stone, enter Midden at the College of Winterhold and go to the Atronach Forge. Place the Sigil Stone on the forge pedestal to unlock a list of additional recipes, including Daedric Equipment.
4. 4 Craft Unenchanted Daedric Equipment. You will need Black Soul Gem (filled or unfilled), Centurion Generator Core, Daedra Heart, and a similar ebony weapon or armor you wish to craft. If you want to craft, say, a Daedric sword, you will need an ebony sword to complete the recipe.
   • Please note that due to a bug when crafting Daedric Boots using the Atronach Forge, the game may give you a pair of weaker Dremora Daedric Boots. This bug was fixed in an unofficial patch for Skyrim version 1.2 or higher, which can be installed on the PC version of Skyrim.
5. 5 Craft a random Enchanted Daedric Gear. Prepare a Filled Greater Soul Gem or better (Greater or Black Soul Gem), an Ebony Ingot and Nether Salt for armor, or a silver one / two handed sword for a weapon. This is the most efficient way to craft Daedric equipment at the forge, given the widespread availability of the required components, although you have no control over which enchantments are added in the process. The resulting enchantment can be anything from inflicting bonus damage from fire / frost / lightning and turning daedra (for weapons) to enchanting and increasing the damage done by certain weapons (for armor).
   • Crafting a random enchanted Daedric weapon also has bugs, as it only produces war hammers and battle axes. This bug was fixed in an unofficial patch for Skyrim version 2.0.5 and higher for Skyrim on PC.
