In this article, we'll show you how to add a job site on Facebook. This can be done on a computer and a mobile device.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: On a computer

1. 1 Open the Facebook site. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in a web browser. If you are already logged in, a news feed will open.
   • If you are not already signed in to your account, in the upper right corner of the login page, enter your email address (or phone number) and password.
2. 2 Click on your name. You will find him (and his profile picture) at the top right of the page. You will be taken to your profile page.
3. 3 Click on Edit profile. You will find this button to the right of your name and profile picture at the top of the page.
4. 4 Scroll down and tap Update information. You will find this option at the bottom of the page.
5. 5 Click on Work and education. You will find this option in the left pane.
6. 6 Click on Add a place of work. This link is in the Jobs section at the top of the page.
7. 7 Enter the details of the place of work. Complete the following lines:
   • Company - Enter the company you work for and then click on the appropriate company in the drop-down menu. To add a company that is not on the menu, click on "Create Company" at the bottom of the menu.
   • "Title" - enter your title.
   • "City" - enter the city in which you work.
   • "Description" - if you like, add a short description of the job.
   • "Time" - select the date from which you work in the company. You can also uncheck the box next to “I'm working here now” to add the date you left work.
8. 8 Click on Save changes. You will find this blue button at the bottom of the page. The workplace data will be saved, and it will be added to your profile.

Method 2 of 2: On a mobile device

1. 1 Start Facebook. Click the white "f" icon on a blue background. If you are already logged in, a news feed will open.
   • If you are not already signed in to your account, enter your email address (or phone number) and password.
2. 2 Tap the icon ☰. You will find it in the lower right corner (iPhone) or at the top of your screen (Android). A menu will open.
3. 3 Tap your name. You will find it at the top of the screen.You will be taken to your profile page.
4. 4 Click on Edit profile. You will find this option at the top of the page, just below your name and profile picture.
5. 5 Scroll down and tap Change details. You will find this option at the bottom of the page.
6. 6 Tap ＋ Add a place of work. It's at the bottom of the Work section. If you don't see the option listed, scroll down to the bottom of the page (it may show multiple jobs).
7. 7 Enter your place of work information. Complete the following lines:
   • "Where did you work?" - enter the name of the place of work. To add your current job, enter the name of the company and then select it from the drop-down menu.
   • "Position" - enter your position (for example, "Marketer").
   • "City" - enter the city in which you work. This step is required unless the next option is checked.
   • This is not a physical location - check this box if your work is not associated with a specific location.
   • Description - if you like, enter a short description of the job.
   • "From" - enter the date of starting work in the company.
   • "To" - enter the date of leaving the company.
   • "Now I work here" - check the box next to this option if you are currently working for the specified company; uncheck the box if you have already left this job.
8. 8 Tap Save. It's at the bottom of the page. The information about the place of work will be saved.
9. 9 Click on Save. You will find this button at the bottom of the Edit Profile page. The workplace will be added to your profile.

Tips

• If you add a place of work, Facebook will recommend you friends who work for the same company.
• If you're having trouble adding a place to work, try using a different browser, computer, or mobile device. You can also temporarily disable browser extensions.

Warnings

• By default, your place of work is available to all Facebook users.
