Cydia is an app that allows jailbroken iOS devices to find and download apps or tweaks specifically for the jailbroken device. If you don't want to use Cydia anymore, you can uninstall or completely remove the jailbreak from your device. If you don't like Cydia, just uninstall the app. If you plan to bring the device to an Apple center, remove the jailbreak completely so that it will not be denied the warranty.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Delete Cydia packages and apps

1. 

   Open Cydia. You can remove Cydia from your device and still keep the jailbreak. Without Cydia, the device will not be able to boot into safe mode when something goes wrong with the jailbreak.

   Click the "Installed" tab at the bottom of the screen. A list of all installed packages will open.

   Tap tweak or app that you want to remove from your device. The option's Details page opens.

   Click the "Modify" button in the upper right corner and select "Remove". This item will be added to the uninstall queue.

   Click "Continue Queuing" to choose to add more packages to the uninstall queue.

   Repeat this process until you have selected all packages to remove. Return to the "Installed" tab after you've finished the queue.

   Click the "Queue" button and click "Confirm". All packages you selected will be deleted.

   Go back to the "Installed" tab and select the "User" list. A list of the most important packages will appear.

   Uninstall the "Cydia Installer" package. Open the "Cydia Installer" details page and click "Modify" Select "Remove" then click "Confirm" to confirm. Once Cydia is uninstalled, the device will reboot.

Method 2 of 2: Delete the jailbreak

1. 

   Connect the iOS device to the computer. Use a USB cable to connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to the computer. After you completely remove the jailbreak, the tweaks and apps are removed from your device.

   Open iTunes if it doesn't open itself. We will use iTunes to backup and restore the device to factory settings, this is to remove the jailbreak and all traces of Cydia. Your data remains, but the data of the jailbreak tweaks will be lost.

   Select your iOS device at the top of the iTunes window. The Summary window opens.

4. 

   Select "This computer" and click the button.Back Up Now (Back up now). A full backup of the device will be created and saved to the hard drive on the computer. This backup takes a few minutes to complete.

   Click the button.Restore iPhone / iPad / iPod ... (Recover iPhone / iPad / iPod). iTunes will ask you to confirm before the restore can take place. The iOS device will take a few minutes to completely erase.

6. 

   Reload the backup once the restore is complete. After restoring your device, iTunes will let you choose between setting it up as new or restoring a backup. Select the backup you just created and restore. All data and previous settings will be restored (except for the jailbreak, Cydia, tweaks and Cydia apps you have installed).
   • The backup restore process will take a few minutes. You can track the progress on the screen of your iOS device.
