With this article, wikiHow will teach you how to create reverse question marks on computers as well as phones and tablets.

Steps

Method 1 of 4: In Windows

1. 

   . Click on the Windows logo located in the lower left corner of the screen.

   Type character map. The Character Map character map application will be searched on your computer.

   Click Character Map. It's a pyramid-shaped icon at the top of the Start window. The Character Map application will open.

   Check the "Advanced view" box located in the lower left side of the Character Map window. Additional options will be displayed below.

   Click the "Search for" field located at the bottom of the window.

   Type inverted question mark (reverse question mark) into the text field. Make sure you have typed correctly.

   Press Search (Search). This button is to the right of the text field. At this point, the reverse question mark icon will appear.

   Click ¿. That will be the only character that appears in the character panel: you'll find it in the upper left corner of the window.

   Click Select (Select), then Copy (Copy). Both of these options are in the lower right side of the window. At this point, the reverse question mark will be copied.

    Go where you want to use the reverse question mark. Open the document or click on a text field (such as the Facebook post field) and place your cursor in it.

    Paste the reverse question mark symbol. Press Ctrl+V for a question mark to appear on the document or text field. You can also right-click on it and press Paste (Paste) in the drop-down menu.

    Use keyboard shortcuts. Hold down Alt+Ctrl+⇧ Shift while pressing the key ? for an inverse question mark to appear over the text area you select.
    • When using keyboard shortcuts, don't forget to press the key ⇧ Shift after pressing Alt and Ctrl.

Method 2 of 4: On a Mac

1. 

   Go to where you want to use the question mark. Open the app, document, or website that you want to type a question mark in. Click on the text box or position where you want to place it.

2. 

   Click Edit (Editor). It's the menu located at the top left of the screen. A drop-down menu will appear.

3. 

   Press Emoji & Symbols (Emoticons & Symbols). This option is at the bottom of the menu Edit be dropped. The Character Viewer window opens.

4. 

   Click the "Expand" icon. This is a box-shaped icon in the upper right corner of the Character Viewer window.

5. 

   Click Punctuation (Period). This tab is in the bottom left of the window.

   Double click ¿ at the top of the Character Viewer window. An inverse question mark will be displayed in the text field you selected.

   Use keyboard shortcuts. Hold down ⌥ Option+⇧ Shift and press ? when the cursor is in the text field to insert an inverse question mark.
   • Pressing all three of these keys at the same time produces a divider instead of an inverse question mark.

Method 3 of 4: On iPhone and iPad

1. 

   Where you want to insert the question mark. Open the application you want to type a question mark in and tap the text field to insert the question mark to open the keyboard.

2. 

   Press the key 123. This key is located in the lower left corner of the keyboard. The keyboard will switch from a text window to a basic number and symbol window.

3. 

   Look for the question mark icon. This icon is located in the last row of keys.

4. 

   Hold down ?. The menu with reverse question mark will appear momentarily.
   • Gently manipulating by pressing too hard will activate the 3D Touch touch function, not another key display window.

5. 

   Swipe up, then swipe over to select ¿. Holding your finger on the keyboard, slide over the question mark to select it.

Method 4 of 4: On Android

1. 

   Enter where you want to use a question mark. Open the application where you want to enter a question mark and touch the text field where you want to insert it to open the keyboard.

2. 

   Click ?123 or ?1☺. They are located in the lower left corner of the keyboard. A number window and icon will be opened.

3. 

   Look for the question mark icon.

4. 

   Hold down the key ? little while. A menu will appear.

5. 

   Choose ¿ in that menu. Drag your finger on the inverse question mark to select it.

6.
