Part 1 of 6: Create a new Power Point presentation

Part 4 of 6: Adding content to pages


  1. Choose a site. In the page preview column on the left, click on a page to edit to open it in the main presentation window.

  3. Add content to the page. Click in the input field and type in the text you want.

  4. Format the content on the page. If necessary, select the part of the text you want to change, then click the tag Home and view the text format choice in the "Font" section of the toolbar.

  7. Repeat this for each page of your presentation. After you've created each page of your presentation, you can go to the next step.
    • Keep in mind, you should avoid making your pages confusing and distracting. Better yet, each page should be 33 words or less.

Part 5 of 6: Adding transition effects

  1. Choose a site. In the left column of the PowerPoint window, click on the page you want to animate.

Part 6 of 6: Check and save presentation

Advice

  • Without Microsoft Office, you can still use Apple's Keynote or Google Slides software to create PowerPoint presentations.
  • Regularly click save during execution to avoid losing content when the computer suddenly shuts down or crashes.
  • If you save your PowerPoint presentation in .pps format instead of the default .ppt format, double-clicking the PowerPoint file will immediately display the content as a slide show.
