This article shows you how to upload (upload) photos from your computer or phone to popular photo sharing sites and social networks. These include photo sharing services Flickr and Imgur, social networking services Facebook and Instagram, cloud storage services Google Drive and iCloud.

Steps

Method 1 of 7: Use website and app

1. 

   iCloud Drive. You need to click on the cloud icon near the top of the page.

   Click the "Upload" button. This button is a cloud icon with an upwards arrow near the top of the window.

   Photo selection. Click the photo you want to upload.
   • If you want to upload multiple photos at the same time, you need to hold down the key Ctrl (on Windows) or ⌘ Command (on Mac) and click each photo you want to upload.

   Click Open (Open). This button is in the lower right corner of the window. After clicking, there will immediately be a notification to upload photos to the iCloud Drive folder. advertisement

Advice

• Some other popular sites for photo upload are Tumblr and Twitter (social media) as well as Dropbox and OneDrive (cloud storage).
• You can upload multiple photos to almost any email service (such as Gmail).

Warning

• Most file hosting websites have upload limits. Example: While Flickr allows uploading of one terabyte (1024 gigabytes), Google Drive allows only 25 gigabytes.
