Minecraft is a famous indie video game in the survival game genre developed by Mojang AB. Minecraft allows players to build, destroy, battle, and explore in the open world. The full version of the game is now available $ 26.95 (equivalent to 599,900 VND), but we can still play for free. On the other hand, if you want to play for free then the trial version (demo) of the game is the right choice, but this version is limited in time and cannot be played online. Steps
Part 1 of 2: Download the game
Accessing Minecraft.net and load the launcher. To play any Minecraft any version, you need to download the game first. The way Minecraft works is slightly different from other games of the same genre: we can download the game for free at any time, but you need to top up your account if you want to play the complete version.- To get the Minecraft "launcher" (the app used to play games), you first need to visit Minecraft.net. Install the launcher. Once the download is complete, launch the file. The installation will begin immediately. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to finish.- Installation should be smooth for most users. Open the launcher. Once the installation is complete, the Minecraft launcher will start immediately. If nothing happens, you can still launch it by opening the file in the directory where the program was installed.
Sign up for an account. Once the launcher opens, you'll be asked for your credentials for the system to verify if you've paid for the game. Since we are newbies you need to click on "Register". If you do not have an account, you will not be able to play even in beta.
- When you click the "Register" button, a window will open in the default web browser and go to the Mojang website for players to create an account. Part 2 of 2: Play for free
Sign in with your new account information. Once the account is registered with Mojang, you will be able to log into the Minecraft launcher. During the login process, a progress bar will appear at the bottom of the window showing the launcher is downloading more files. This is normal and please wait a moment.
- Note: The computer needs to have an Internet connection when logging in because the information will be verified with the Mojang server.
Beta starts. At the bottom of the launcher window is a large "Play Demo" button. Click this button to launch the game. The launcher will close, and a new game window will open. Click "Play Demo World" on the title screen.
Understand the limitations of the trial version. First of all, the good news is that you can now start playing Minecraft for free. Important note: the beta is not the complete version of the game, so you can only experience a little bit of everything. The biggest differences between the two versions are:
- One session of the trial is limited to 100 minutes. After that, you can still visit the world, but you cannot destroy or lay blocks.
- The demo does not allow us to connect to the server. However, you can still play multiplayer mode in LAN.
- If you want to play the full game for free, please experience version 1.2.5 (released during the added jungle period) backward. These versions do not require users to pay to play the full game.
Or, you can sign in with someone else's account. If someone of your friends owns a copy of Minecraft, you can easily play the complete game on your computer using their account.
