• If you want to tie the ribbon on the gift package, thread the ribbon under the gift box, pull the ends of the rope upwards and tie the knot so that the ends are equal. Now you have one arm on the left and one on the right to tie the bow.
• You can tie the bow from the ribbon without the gift box. Tie a knot in the center of the string so that the left and right branches are the same length.

Method 2 of 3: Tie ribbons layered

1.

Method 3 of 3: Tie a flower ribbon

1. 

   Wrap the ribbon around your hand. Hold one end of the string on your palm with your thumb, and keep wrapping it until the end of the string. Each cuff wrapped around the hand should lie neatly on the previous one.

   Slide the ribbons off your hands and fold them in half. Be careful not to let the loops come loose when you slide them out of your hand.

Advice

• Make sure the two ribbon branches are the same length before you start tying the ribbon.
