Not comfortable sharing your Facebook friends list with everyone? Facebook has the feature of hiding the list if you want. If you don't like someone's posts, you can remove them from their view without their knowledge. Read the article below to learn how.

Method 1 of 2: Hide friends list

1. 

   Open the Facebook profile. Log in to Facebook and open your profile.

   Click the "Friends" button below the cover photo. This opens a list of all your friends.

   Click the “Manage” button. The button has a small square next to the "+ Find Friends" button and a pencil icon next to it.

   Select "Edit Privacy". This opens a new window so you can customize the privacy settings of your friends list.

   Choose privacy options. Next to “Friend List”, click the drop-down menu to see privacy options. If you don't want anyone to see your friends list, choose “Only Me”. Also you can install as you like, or one of the lists you just created. advertisement

Method 2 of 2: Hide friends' posts on timeline

   Find the post of the person you want to hide. If you feel tired of seeing their post, but don't want to unfriend, you can hide that person's post from appearing in the timeline.

   Mouse over the post. You will see a down arrow icon to the right of the post. Click this arrow to open a small menu.

   Click “Unfollow ”(Unfollow ). This step will delete the post and prevent subsequent posts from appearing on the update page. You can undo this step by clicking on the Undo link, or by going to the person's profile and clicking the “Follow” button. advertisement
