This article will guide you on how to change your Facebook display name to a word or word. If you do not live in Indonesia, you will need to use a VPN network to be allowed to use the Indonesian IP address.

Steps

Part 1 of 3: Change your language to Indonesian language

1. 

   Open Facebook with a web browser. You can use any web browser on your computer to make this change, such as Firefox or Safari. If you are not logged into your account yet, enter your username and password to immediately follow the next steps.
   • If you do not have a VPN service that allows you to use your Indonesian IP address, you should select one before proceeding. ZenVPN is a free option with a quick registration process.

   Click select Setting (Settings). This item is near the bottom of the menu bar.

   Click select Language (Language). This item is in the middle of the left column.

   Click select Edit (Edit) next to "What language do you want to use Facebook in?""This is the first option that displays" Edit "on the main screen.

   Choose Bahasa Indonesia from the drop-down menu.

Part 2 of 3: Rename display

1. 

   Change the IP address to the Indonesian IP address. You can do this in VPN (VPN settings) settings.

   Open Facebook Settings. This is the browser tab you are using.

   Click Um um. It's in the top left corner of Facebook. Look for the two gears icon.

   Click select Sunting next to “Nama."This is the first display of the" Sunting "item at the top of the main screen. This will allow you to edit your display name.

   Enter the name of the account you want to use in the box “Depan”. It is the first box on the page.

   Delete the name in the "Belakang" box. This is the third box where you usually see your last name.
   • If the name also appears in the “Tengah” box, delete it.

   Press Tinjau Perubahan. This green button is below your name. A confirmation window will appear.

   Enter your password in the box “Kata sand”.

Part 3 of 3: Change the language back to default

1. 

   Press Bahasa. This item is in the middle of the left column.

   Press Sunting next to the box “Nama.”

3. 

   Select the language you want from the drop-down menu.

   Click Simpan Perubahan. The Facebook account is currently installed in your default language. advertisement
