Tired of Hulu + but needing to re-plug the cable? If you want to cancel your Hulu account then you can follow these simple, quick and a bit fun steps.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Cancel on Hulu

1. 

   Sign in to your Hulu Plus account. Visit the Hulu website at http://www.hulu.com. You can login (Log In) with Facebook or login with your email and password.

   Access your account information. Click your name or the picture in the upper right corner of the screen and select Account in the drop-down menu.

   Click Unsubscribe (Cancel subscription). In the lower right corner of the Account tab, locate Unsubscribe and click on it.

   Watch a funny video. Hulu will play an 11-second video saying "Don't go". If you are still not moved, you can continue the cancellation process.

   Read the terms and conditions. This section is about 8 pages long with the content of trying to persuade you to sign up instead of canceling. The unsubscribe terms are mainly about how you will be charged for the service you have used. You should review it yourself before continuing.

   Click Cancel. After you find that the terms are acceptable and want to continue the cancellation process, click the Cancel recording button.
   • Once the cancellation is approved by Hulu, you will receive a confirmation email. Please keep this email for use when necessary.

Method 2 of 2: Cancel on iTunes

1. 

   Go to the iTunes store. From the home page, click on your Apple ID and click Account in the menu. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.

2. 

   Manage the Subscriptions section. Scroll to the bottom of your account page and find Subscriptions under Settings. Click the Manage button located on the right side.

3. 

   Locate the Hulu Plus subscription. You will see information about the subscription and renewal status. Click the Edit button on the right.

   Turn off the auto-renewal feature. This is the unsubscribe step after you pay. advertisement

Advice

• If you intend to re-register within the next 3 months, Hulu will suggest that you simply suspend your account usage. To do so, follow the steps above, but instead of clicking the Cancel button, click Put my account on hold. Note: You cannot do this step in iTunes.

Warning

• If you cancel your Hulu Plus account during the trial period, your access to Hulu Plus will be immediately stopped.
