This wikiHow teaches you how to share long iPhone videos with others, even if they're too heavy to attach to emails or messages. You need to make sure you have the Dropbox app on your iPhone before you get started.

Steps

1. 

   Open Dropbox on your iPhone or iPad. The app has a blue icon, inside there is an open white box. You can find it on the home screen.

   Add videos to Dropbox. If this video is already in Dropbox, you can skip this step. If not, please:
   • Click + Create (Create) in the middle bottom of the screen.
   • Click Upload photos (Upload photos).
   • Go to the folder containing the video.
   • Click on the video to select it.
   • Click next (Next).
   • Select the Dropbox folder you want to save the video to.
   • Click Upload. This may take a few minutes if the video is too long.

   Tap the video you want to send. If you haven't opened the folder containing the video, tap the folder to open it, and then select the video.

   Click the Share icon with a blue human-shaped border with a + in the upper right corner of the screen.

   Enter the recipient's email address. Before you start typing, click on the “To:” field to bring up the keyboard.

   Click Send (Send) in the upper right corner of the screen. An email with a link to the video will be sent. The recipient can then click or tap the link to watch the video in Dropbox. advertisement
