This article will show you how to crop images in Adobe Illustrator.

Steps

1. 

   Open or create a File in Adobe Illustrator. First, click on the yellow and brown application that contains the "Who"Then, click File in the Menu bar in the upper left corner of the screen, then:
   • Click New ... to create a new file; or
   • Click Open ... (Open ...) to cut an image from an existing file.

   Click the Selection Tool. This is the black arrow near the top corner of the toolbar.

   Click the image you want to crop.
   • To add a new picture to the file, select the command File then press next Place (Add). Select the picture you want to crop and press the button Place.

   Click Crop Image in the upper right corner of the program window.
   • If a related picture warning appears, click Select OK.

5. 

   Click and drag corners of the Crop Widget. Click and drag until the part of the picture you want to keep is inside the rectangle.

   Click select Apply in the Control Panel at the top of the screen. The image will be cropped according to your intentions. advertisement
