This article shows you how to block access to unhealthy content on your Android smartphone or tablet.

Method 1 of 4: Turn on SafeSearch

1.

   Google Play Store. Tap the Google Play Store app with the multicolored triangle icon to do this.

Method 4 of 4: Use Google Family Link

1. 

   Google Play Store and do the following:
   • Touch the search bar.
   • Import family link
   • Touch Google Family Link
   • Touch INSTALL (Setting)
   • Touch ACCEPT (Accepted) when asked.

   • Touch YES (Have)

   Touch NEXT (Continued) twice. This will take you to the account creation section.

   Create a Google account for your child. Even if your child already has a Google account, you will still need to create a new one. Please do as follows:
   • Enter your child's name and touch NEXT
   • Enter your child's date of birth and tap NEXT
   • Enter an email address for your child and tap NEXT
   • Enter a password for your child and touch NEXT twice
   • Check the box "I agree", then touch AGREE (Agree).
   • Enter the payment card information for the $ 0.01 verification transaction (about 230 dong), then select ACCEPT (Accept).

   Connect your child's phone to the Family Link account. Please touch NEXT twice, then follow the onscreen instructions to set up Family Link for your child's phone. Once your child's phone has been added to Family Link, you can continue with other actions.

   Change app permissions. Every Android phone comes with a number of apps pre-installed; After you install Family Link, you'll be asked to allow or block each app before the installation is complete.
   • Blocking apps like Google Play Music controls what your kids can access.
   • Apps like YouTube and Android Pay are both blocked by default because they're only available to users over the age of 13.

    Turn on SafeSearch for browsers. Similar to most Android phones, your child's phone usually comes with three pre-installed browsers, Google Chrome, Google Search, and the default "Web" or "Internet" browser. You can turn on SafeSearch - filter blocking adult content by doing the following for each browser:
    • Select the application to use (for example Google Chrome).
    • Touch Permissions (Access)
    • Find and touch an option SafeSearch.

11. 

    Complete the Family Link setup. Once you have completed the setup process, your child's Android phone won't be able to access pornography, adult content, or uncensored apps without your permission.
