Staying logged in to Facebook only makes sense if you have a computer that is all yours. But if you're sharing a computer or using it in a work environment, it's better to log out and avoid unwanted snooping or embarrassing posts posted under your name! This way you can quickly log out.

To step

Method 1 of 2: On your own computer

1. Click on the arrow in the top right corner of your Facebook page. Select "Sign Out" from the drop-down menu.

Method 2 of 2: On your phone

1. Tap the menu icon in the top left (located on every page).
2. Scroll down. In the left column, scroll all the way down and select "Sign Out."
   • On a mobile phone you log out by pressing one random page down and select "Sign Out".

Tips

• When logging in, make sure the "I want to stay logged in" box is unchecked. When you close Facebook at some point, you will be automatically logged out.
